Call for Partcipation

Biometric recognition technologies with booming development have attracted more and more attentions from academia, industries and government agencies in recent years. The 5th Chinese Conference on Biometric Recognition (Sinobiometrics'04) will be held December 13-15 2004 at GuangZhou, China. The purpose is to promote international exchange of ideas in the fields and provide an opportunity for keeping abreast of the latest international developments.

Conference highlights:

  1. Papers contributed by researchers and industries from Korea, Japan, Singapore, HongKong, France, UK, US, as well as China.
  2. Keynote lectures on advanced biometrics techniques:

Competition

Biometrics Authentication Competition (BAC) is initiated by CBSR for performance evaluations of biometric algorithms and systems based on the CBSR multi-modal biometric database. The 1st BVC is done during Aug-Dec 2004, for face, iris and fingerprint recognition. The results will be presented at the 5th Sinobiometrics Conference in December 2004.
