胡卫明， 研究员、博士生导师、 IEEE Senior Member 、中国计算机学会高级会员、国际权威刊物 IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, Part B: Cybernetics 的 Associate Editor 。 1998 年 1 月在浙江大学计算机系获工学博士学位。 1998 年 3 月进入北京大学计算机科学技术研究所 ( 即北大方正技术研究院 ) 博士后流动站， 从事 博士后研究工作。 2000 年 4 月起在中国科学院自动化研究所模式识别国家重点实验室工作。曾多次到美国伊利诺伊斯大学厄巴那 - 香槟分校、英国雷丁大学和伦敦大学 Birkbeck 学院、法国波尔多第三大学以及澳大利亚 Monash 大学和卧龙岗大学做访问研究。 2004 年获北京市科学技术 ( 自然科学类 ) 一等奖 ( 排名第二 ) 、陆增镛 CAD&CG 高科技奖二等奖 ( 个人奖 ) 。先后主持了国家自然科学基金、国家高技术研究发展计划、北京市自然科学基金等多项科研项目。已在《 IEEE Trans. on PAMI 》等国际刊物、《中国科学》等国内一级刊物以及重要的国际学术会议上发表论文 90 余篇，其中第一作者 32 篇，到 2008 年 2 月为止 SCI 收录 18 篇、 EI 收录 45 篇、 ISTP 收录 32 篇； SCI 他引 236 次、 Google Schoolar 他引 1007 次、中国科学引文数据库他引 73 次。申请专利 15 项。有多套软件产品在国内有关单位推广使用，完成的商业化软件产品 — 方正智绘地图晕渲系统广泛使用于测绘、地矿、农业、林业、出版等行业。目前主要从事视频信息处理与网络信息安全识别方面的研究工作。
