Zhaofeng He received the B.E. degree in electronic engineering and information science from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), in 2005. He is currently a PhD candidate in the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA).

He is studying pattern recognition and computer vision under the supervision of Professor Tieniu Tan at the Center of Biometrics and Security Research (CBSR) and the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR) of CASIA.

His research interests include biometrics, image processing, pattern recognition, machine learning and computer vision. He is a student member of the IEEE and IEEE GUCAS Student Branch.
